ATI video driver and control panel software can be uninstalled through the Windows® Add/Remove Programs utility.
To uninstall ATI drivers and all related software
Start Windows®.
Click Start.
Point to Control Panel.
Select Add or Remove Programs.
Select ATI - Software Uninstall Utility from the list of software programs.
Click the Change/Remove button.
The ATI - Software Uninstall Utility dialog appears. Click OK.
Click Yes to restart your computer when prompted.
To uninstall the ATI video drivers (only)
Start Windows®.
Click Start.
Point to Control Panel.
Select Add or Remove Programs.
Select ATI Display Driver from the list of software programs.
Click the Change/Remove button.
The ATI Uninstall dialog appears. Click Select All. Click OK.
Click Yes to restart your computer when prompted.
To uninstall the ATI Control Panel (only)
Start Windows®.
Click Start.
Point to Control Panel.
Select Add or Remove Programs.
Select ATI Control Panel from the list of software programs.
Click the Change/Remove button. The ATI Control Panel Setup dialog appears.
Click Remove. Click Next. Click OK.
Click Yes to restart your computer when prompted.
Reinstalling the Video Drivers
To reinstall the ATI video drivers, do the following:
With Windows® running on your computer, insert the Dell ResourceCD into your CD/DVD-ROM drive.
If the Dell ResourceCD window does not open automatically, on your desktop, double click My Computer and then double click on the CD/DVD-ROM drive containing the Dell ResourceCD.
Follow the instructions provided by the Dell ResourceCD to locate the video drivers package for your card.
Once you have located the package, select the ATI setup.exe to unzip the drivers on to the hard drive and install the drivers.
At the Setup Complete screen, select Yes and click Finish to restart your system.
